Shown here along with a typical glove for size reference is the Two-hands Glove Insert.
A simple concept, requiring the insert to be slipped into the mit, such that it is in contact with the palm once
the hands and fingers are inserted into the glove. The insert immobalizes the natural closing motion or abilities of
the mit, forcing the glove to remain wide open.
The fact that the mit is not closed creates a normal reflex to use the throwing hands to assist trapping the ball
in the glove. It is through this routine movement that the athlete develops over a short period of time using both hands
to complete all catches.
